A "fast" lens is one that has a low "f stop". For example, an f/1.4 lens is faster than an f/2.0, and is a typical fast standard lens aperture.
Hope this helps, and apologies if I've butted in here.

The items listed in the Pentax Sale site (see above for link) as SOLD have reached their destinations.
On Thursday, my MX body will appear on Ebay, and when it does I will put a link to it on this thread.

Sorry for any rough handling. It's gone a little quiet on here lately, and next week I'll just start putting things on Ebay. I feel that the enthusiasts on this forum have had their say and made their purchases.

New light seals, transport/shutter overhaul 8 years ago, cared for since purchase (1989 or so) by my good self and never taken out in poor weather. Lived in the camera bag for those years when not in use, away from damp.
To quote the character Arthur Daley, "my word is my bond", I can offer nothing more than to say it is operational and I am only selling it to fund my digital camera system additions, likewise with all the other items.

My cameras have been used, nowhere near excessively, and I would like to say that they will work fine. There is no secret that they are aged, but in good condition for their age. The Super A is in a condition that tells of its use, but is not in a bad way. The MX was coddled by myself from new, and I inspected both bodies and shot a roll of film through the MX quite recently (and I don't mean 8 years ago, I mean this year). All is well.
As I stated earlier, the prices I have posted for the various items are just starting prices, and subject to negotiation. I realise that a couple of prices are very low based on the availability of some of the equipment, and although I may regret letting things go at such low prices I have posted prices as I believed matched the items' worth.
Having said that, if somebody wants a particular piece they can always make me a sensible offer. In the end, I'll just put the remainder on Ebay and let Fate take over.
