The second has a very mystical feel about it, but on balance I prefer the original. very nice picture
The original for me was only to allow me to get to the other two,
If I hadn't made the other edits, the original would have ended up in the bin
I appreciate the feedback, genuinely,
Thanks again
Derek

Give me a bad fire to deal with any day rather than stand where you do in no 2 and 6
Just have to love the tradition that has created the kissing wall, and leaves you wondering when and how it started, is it particular to that theater or common place at others too ?
The well worn and slightly wonky steps are super, the amount of use they must have seen.
The Oxford Playhouse seats for the eye catching colour and lighting.
But for me there are 2 that catch me,
6 and 11,
6 is right up my street, that light falloff is sublime, graduated from just visible at the front to popping as you progress, with shapes and contours being revealed as you get further in. Top class My fav of the set
The red Velvet ? seats in 11 are sumptuous, and the lighting is perfect. class.
Well thats just my tuppence worth,

There is a lot of gorse and scrub, and the water appears brown but thats to do with the rocks underneath, its up in the mountains, so no pollution, I just don't like the colours of the original, might be the filter might not,
I am enjoying experimenting with these.

It was a cheap Zomei 10 stop screw in filter, Worse again, I have to use step down rings as its a 72mm and the lens is 77mm
I havent fully decided to hold onto the lens ( samyang 20mm f1. as I quite like the look of the Irix 15mm, that is why I havent invested in proper filters for it.
The shot was a 228 sec long exposure, iso 400 and F9.
It was late evening so there was very little light by the time I took this particular shot.
I edited it in my normal way, then uploaded to flickr, then downloaded to my ph, where I edited it again in snapseed,( not a bad little app, can handle raw files too, if you have a ph that shoots raw)
Anyway here are the shots, ( i shoot raw + jpeg, i edit the raw files, so here is the unedited jpeg)

Thanks for that Steve, I didn't know him, but I have been in touch via social media, he is delighted with the photos. I might even arrange to meet up some day and spend a bit of time with them.
The dog seems to love playing up, and his antics are quite funny, so it would be interesting to see if I could expand on these.
Not my usual topic / theme but I was smiling for the whole time I was shooting 👍👍👍
