The second has a very mystical feel about it, but on balance I prefer the original. very nice picture

It's strange, how tastes differ, I dislike the original enough that I almost didn't include it.
The original for me was only to allow me to get to the other two,
If I hadn't made the other edits, the original would have ended up in the bin
I appreciate the feedback, genuinely,
Thanks again
Derek

Amazing shot! But the first edited one is beautiful. Black & White doesn't look good from my view.
But, it's good!

Lovely image Derek, in all three incarnations. My preference is for the pure mono, but I wouldn't discard any of them.

The Mono is the one that works best for me - and I don't mind milky water every now and then

Good shooting (and processing) Derek

Thank you for the warning, Derek! Ignoring the water effect, it is the colour version that appeals to me most, except for the solid black in the trees on the left.

cheers everyone its been a learning curve for me too on this, the ph edit thing is fine for the likes of instagram and other ph based platforms, but there are limitations on its use outside of that, mainly visible when seen on a normal screen, there was horrendous banding, and a few other flaws along the left edge of the image. cant see them here but on flickr they were apparent, ive tried to blur out the banding in these and darken down the left edge to get rid of the issues.
I might at some stage re visit this shot and edit only on pc, and see if I can avoid the issues and gain a much cleaner image.
Overall I do like this shot, flawed edits and all

Thanks for taking the time to look and comment, as always it is appreciated, i shall keep the points raised in mind when I re do them.
for now I will leave you wit 2 more edits, not much difference between them but I have fixed the left edge issue on both
