Lovely set. Can't beat a bit of film noir.

Excellent as always Spad.

I particularly like the fly and the phone box study is superb.

@Defragged - I'm hoping so.
I doubt you will be disappointed.

The M 135/3.5 got a bit of bad press as being underwhelming. I think largely due to it being plentiful as it was the cheapest telephoto available from Pentax.

I still have my copy and I love it. The size is compact, it has a built in hood and it renders wonderfully.
+1.

Very nice set Spad. And yes, some sun at last but no doubt the Met will put it down to catastrophic CC that normal brains call summer!

Superb lens at a very good price indeed.

Another warts 'n' all review from one of my favourite online photographers. Dry crude wit aside, he's a hardcore and very knowledgeable film user which I think adds a bit of value to his take on this exciting release from Pentax. I like his photographic style too.

Nice. That 150-500 looks very capable. Hope you didn't get any salt spray on it.

Are you sure it wasn't 2kg of greenbacks that he lost at the tourist traps.

The Pentax DFA 21mm f2.4 is just about the pinnacle of quality for a prime at this focal length (give or take a millimetre) and at wider apertures the Cosina is no real match - but stop it down a bit and it's well capable of producing some very nice results. Bang for buck it's worthwhile having it in the arsenal - this shot taken with the Cosina was a POTW on here a few months back...

A stunning image Lenny but would the same shot with the DFA21mm look any better or more to the point would anyone looking at side-by-side identical photo's taken with the Cosina and the DFA be able to determine which lens shot which photo? I suspect it would be guess work. That's not to say I think the Cosina to be better than the DFA, that would be nonsense but in the right hands, even an older and less sophisticated vintage lens can produce stunning results as you have illustrated.
