A very interesting and informative video review of the Pentax LX:

A must watch for lovers of the LX. If Heineken had made it, it would probably be the best film SLR in the world.

Before I posted my last comment above yesterday, I had visited this page on ebay:

This evening I received the offer below. I reckon this is probably the best deal at the moment on a new K3 III. The offer I don't think is transferable, however I'm sure if approached by an interested party that the seller would most likely be prepared to agree to the same deal.
For anyone who is mad keen to acquire a K3 III before stocks disappear from the shelves, I think this is a good opportunity at a comparatively good price.
Just sayin.

Now out of stock at Park. Camera Centre still have one but the discount code has now expired.

Park though have a second hand K3 III with an 1100 shutter count priced at £1,184 after their discount code is applied. Doesn't seem a bad price and comes with a six month warranty. I suspect it won't hang around for too long

Camera Centre UK have one left @ £1,599.00 with discount code worth £75.00 bringing the price down to £1,524.00. Albeit without the extra battery and grip, but not every one needs them. Purchased my brand new K3 III from them at the beginning of Sept last year for £1,374.00 and I have to say I love it.

Very nice, I particularly like the second one.

Me too, for the most part at least!
Pre-ordered my K3 from SRS at release later acquiring a new K1 whilst keeping the K3. More recently snagging a new k3-III for an excellent price and I truly love it. Still keeping the original K3 and K1 of course. Seriously considered purchasing a K3-Mono but concluded it's a tool more suited to dedicated mono enthusiasts. However, which ever Pentax camera you buy, you can't really go wrong...

And Port Sunlight is yet another fascinating place with oodles of photographic potential but then you doubtless already know that.

A modern vintage lens beautifully crafted from metal and glass. Stunning to look at a delight to hold. All the advantages of a new lens with the characteristics of an old classic. £213.00 delivered in a quality presentation box with a mini cleaning kit including, including I kid you not, a pair of white cotton gloves to handle it with. Certainly not what you would call expensive for a new lens but built to last and very capable. The perfect addition to the collection of any discerning lensoholic and most definitely a keeper. Whilst this type of lens may not be for everyone, for those who are interested, I have no hesitation in recommending it 110%. Just my opinion!

Have a very happy and Holy Christmas everyone with good health, wealth and good fortune in the year ahead,

D.

England's green and pleasant land. Beautiful!

Of course it has! Why what else would you expect to see from Pentax?
