It's possible that one of its own seeds has germinated inside it or it's some kind of mutation.

[quote:3496ace15f=Yes, I've had reasonable success doing this with my K50 + FA50mm Macro and an old slide/neg copier attached to the lens filter thread. Both BW and Colour negs and colour slides. For larger negatives etc. I've used a light board and the macro lens.
Nice.

Also, a redundant enlarger stand can be re-purposed to carry the camera & lens. It would provide both stability and the ability to lower & raise the camera to facilitate zooming and focusing.

Have you considered doing your own scanning using your DSLR. If you do a search on YouTube will find lots of useful of advice and you won't need to be reliant on third parties.

Takes up time but keeps costs down and once you have mastered your setup & technique it should be plain sailing.

Good luck.

Good for you. If it works for you and you're satisfied then what more can you ask?

Enjoy it.

Currently selling my Q kit since it's more of a collector's item than anything these days.

The KP just feels so good in the hand, I've tried the K-S1 and 2 and they just don't come close. The only sticking point is price. Everything seems to have gone up in the used market so where I sold my KP for £500 odd in the past, they're up at £650 or higher.
The Q still takes decent photo's but point taken.
You may well have already seen these but just in case:- link - link

Good luck with your search and your trip.

Just checked my K1 and found no discernible difference with any of the dials.

The A series is most certainly a compact little gem of a lens of which I own a fine example.

Sorry it's not for sale but good look with your search.
