Where did you find one of those?? Rare bird and great picture.

Absolutely magnificent cityscape in a single frame. Great job!

You were confined to the limits of the lens you had. Had it been a 50mm macro then you would have had a field day with this wooden post. The result, as it is - just view it full sized! - is sufficient to make anyone's head turn. Play with a few crops. It's a fantastic find and capture.

Do seagulls give an sh 1 t about the politics of a statue?

The steep sided valley with a similar climb on the other side adds to the depth that one's eye has to accommodate to but once you have done this it becomes a beautiful image, full of detail, from one end to the other. That in itself vindicates this "not universally well regarded lens" since not all could deal with this view (mine has provided some superb results). Super image of a nice walk.

Difficult to 'like' this one. A poignant statement that underlines so many current horrors as well.

Why fix it if it ain't broke? I like it just as it is.

Excellent shot that evokes all sorts of 'dark forest' vibes. If you return about May or June you might find that moss well populated with teeny tiny Mycena toadstools.

You mean she ought not to have been there?

It's an extremely nice picture of a soldier beetle. (The other sort are foul pests that attack lilies - though it is obvious how the confusion comes about). Tack sharp focus and great separation from the background.
