Masterful, ranging from rocky coastlines to exquisite sand patterns and beautiful skies. My faves are No. 7 with the wonderful patterns and two distant figures giving it context and the final shot of the tents with their internal lighting and the night sky.

Don't be sorry about using your archives for an entry in the weekly competitions Peter - the rules say its OK. I sometimes 'rescue' a picture from my archives if I think its better than I first thought.

Worth making a special trip over for this Gwyn. You get to see our pictures and visit a World Heritage Site cathedral.

Good action shots, and you identified each of the cyclists as they flashed past. Well done.

Mono, but not black and white. I'm looking for vibrant colour pictures where one colour is dominant and occupies most of the image although there may be others taking 'bit parts.' I'm leaving the subject wide open to the photographers' choice so it could be landscape, portrait, abstract, sport, architectural or whatever. I hope that attracts a wide range of photographs from some of the many talented photographers on PUF. Usual rules apply, Pentax or related cameras only, you can take something new or dig into your archives.
Deadline Sunday Midnight August 11, British summer time.
Here's a few of mine to illustrate my thinking, but I'm looking forward to some great wide ranging interpretations.

I haven't entered any competitions recently either on PUF or at my camera club, but I couldn't let Mannesty's plea go un answered. I 've enjoyed taking part in our weekly competitions and have been sad to see numbers dwindling of late. so I've popped one in from my archives.

I'm an old stick in he mud, still more than happy with the results I get from my K5 (2011), K30 (2012) and K3 (2013). The last big purchase I made was at the end of 2016 when I went for the D FA* 70-200mm zoom instead of investing in a new K1, a decision I'm glad I made as it gives me superb results although its heavy when carrying it around all day at an event such as the Edinburgh Fringe which I'm going to again next week.
A couple of months ago I rescued my 2006, or was it 2007?, K10 from the back of a shelf, charged up the battery and started using it again. I now get better results from it than I did when it was new simply because I'm now more experienced at using PS and can tease more out of the camera in post process.
I fancy the mug though.

Tyneside is proud of its thriving kittiwake population. World wide kittiwakes are declining but here the population thrives as they nest in Quayside buildings such as The Baltic and Tyne Bridge, the world's most inland habitat for the gulls. But there is a downside...... .

Thanks Gary and redabus99. I know you love K10 Gary, it was named after you.
Redabus99: Dehazing the top of No.3 was already done but I couldn't do much more with it. The background trees and shrubs were too far off for get better focus and also It was through the top of the glass of the water feature which wasn't to clean.
