Feel free to praise them to the heavens or slag them off.

I shot these in bright sunshine on my conservatory today although temperatures remained sub zero.

They are cracking photos Judith, everyone a winner. The much favoured No. 5 which your son took, still has your handiwork on it. You converted it to mono and for me its a stunner.

The second photo has more imemdiate appeal than the first. The castle and the hill in the distance can be seen more clearly. But both have good lighting and exposure. I agree with the suggestions for a crop on No. 1.

I agree, the judging is going to be tight. But come on Lilly, make my job even more difficult, there must be some weather in India.

I like No. 2 the best Aiki. The figure gives it scale and reason. So that's the frozen sea is it? If you keep on walking from there do you come to Finland and Helsinki? I've been there and a friend who now lives in Durham and is a member of our photographic society comes from there.

I think the skeletons are irrelevant too Tim. This picture is about modern architecture, angles and shapes. As for the wall lamp - you could easily clone it out. If you are desperate to get the skeletons in why not go back and shoot it again, but straight on and not from an angle so that you get them clearly defined in the window.

I like all of these Matt, especially the night time shot with its atmospheric blue. I prefer the colour version of the beach scene.
