I haven't a clue why it looks like that but I love the colours of No.2. It does look like posterization so it must the street lights casting that hue. Whatever it is it works for me.

Best wishes Kriss. The toilets in Romania can't be worse than the public loos in Durham used to be.

Ah, thanks, but you don't use a capital bee for your "biro"
Quite right. My mistake

I avoid it by using something else: Silkypix.

Of course I use Photoshop just as every photographer for the past 150 years has used his or her darkroom to tidy up images and create more artistic finished pictures. If you shoot in RAW as I now do exclusively I can't see how you could avoid using Photoshop to get the final image.
What I'm not enthusiastic about are those over blown creations of confectionary such as over-the-top HDR which are more about how clever the photographer is on a computer than he is with a camera.

It's a good theme Aiki. I haven't taken my shot yet but I'm keen to enter the competition. I'm waiting for some decent light up here in NE England. Although a lot of snow has melted and its now slightly above freezing, its dark and wet and miserable.

I like the ice flow pictures best but agree that a couple of them would work better with a more severe crop from the sky. The overhead railway cables and signal light also make a very good image. The ice crystal in No. 8 is a beautiful picture.
