From the last times, when I had to judge, I remember several stairs draw my attention). To my mind it has not been a theme yet. And should be available for anyone: outdoors and indoors, even under tha snow if you prefer It should give opportunity to play with light, composition and mood, being abstract or realistic...the choice is yours.
So:
STAIRS
Pentax cameras
exif included with the pic (avoid saving for web, that might loose the data)
pic-s taken from now until 6pm UK time Wednesday January 20 (My childs birthday ! )
no more size limitation as I have understood. Just be sensible

Railway Footbridge in Snow

It looks like I'm kicking this one off.
The novelty of the snow has worn off. Now it just feels bleak.

Couldn't get out to take a photo of the stairs I wanted, so I made some pop-up ones instead.

Spiral Staircase

Too busy I know, but it's all I've managed to come up with this fortnight. Had my eye on a staircase downtown, but never managed to get there.

Exif: Taken last Saturday with the K20D + DA10-17(of course!) @ 11mm, f.8, 1/8 sec, ISO 500

Not leaving it to the very last minute this time as I'm sure Aiki has been chewing her nails

I had to incur the veiled wrath of my wife by not visiting Mother In Law and searching for photos instead.
