Which type of legs does it have, the ones with the twist tightening or the quick release type?

I think there will be some landscape shooters salivating over the K-1. Also I think it will be great for low light shooting, e.g. concert/gig photography, but agree that a lower pixel count with the same size sensor would have been even better for this type of work. I guess this will follow in due course.

Would that be Barry and Neil in the 6th shot? I'd recognise those shady characters anywhere
It's definitely Neil (gtis) and Andrew Allport (AndrewA), I think the other reprobate is George Carman (carmagw).

You might have seen a few images on the Forum from a meet we held in Sheffield 2 weeks ago, when we did a 'One Lens Challenge'. Here are my offerings from the day, all with the K-3 and DA50 F1.8.

New From Old. A blend of 3 images - one single exposure and a 2 image multi-exposure

i'm not sure either, I find it a bit 'busy' with nowhere for the eye to settle. I can understand though why you wanted to include numerous poppies to give an impression of the scale of display, rather than concentrating on a single one.

Anyone who tries to claim a K-5iis is not inherently sharper than a K-5 needs their head examining.

It has no AA filter. AA filters create blur, there can be no disputing this.

End of story.

They're all very nice George, but the crow is the clear stand-out, it's the only one with the background diffused enough to add rather than detract from the main subject.

The others are all beautifully sharp, but being hyper-critical (which I often am!), the backgrounds are not quite blurred enough to make the birds really leap out.
