I works pretty well too, a good subject for a long exposure image. The only slight negative for me is that there is not more detail in the sky, it has got a bit burned out in the top right.

Thanks Drew for organising a fantastic day out, despite indifferent weather we had a great time! Thanks also to everyone who came, some travelled a fair distance!

Here's one of mine from the day with the K-3 and D-Xenon 12-24, more to follow when I've processed them!

£388 is too expensive for something I don't need but would just like...my target price is somewhat lower, but it will have to be a new one.
Why would it have to be new John? I've bought two used ones, a black and a silver, both absolutely mint condition, the black cost £160 (body only) and the silver was £230 including a mint DA 40mm F2.8 XS lens (excellent lens BTW). You would not know that either of them had ever been used and both perform brilliantly.

These look good overall, colours and sharpness are great. It does look as though the lens may be front focussing on a few of them though?

Amazon have them at £388 with used from £190 and as mentioned above I think Gary Stafford's is still available at £160.

I can't speak for anyone else David, but I was thinking of prices for new K-01 bodies.

I can't find any reasonable ones, unless someone can tell me differently.
Gary Stafford has one for sale at £160, I think this is still available?

The K-01 is fab. I noticed on a post earlier today that there were comments about it being expensive and holding its money; I'm not sure where that comes from, you can buy these in mint second hand condition for about £150. In my book it's the biggest photography bargain out there. The IQ from this camera is simply superb and it's great for using with older MF lenses, the focus peaking makes these very easy get the focus spot on, even at wide apertures.

Andy, I will reply on Andrew's behalf:

- Not too much walking
- The more the merrier - we would love to meet you and your girlfriend
- Lots of great locations we plan to visit and the weather should be favourable, though a bit windy!

Hope you can make it.

As a 'PS' to the above, Ralph has already kindly pointed out the different frame rates that are available, but from what the OP has asked, I would imagine that the question was mostly about the difference in resolution between 'Full HD' and 'HD'.

I hope this has answered your question Dennis
