February in the Peaks

We've been talking about another meet to explore further parts of the Peaks that we have yet to visit.

We were looking at either of the first two Sundays in February, so that would be either 2nd or 9th February.

Please post your preference of date in the thread and then we'll firm up the location in due course.

Hi Andrew

Fran & I can make it to the Peaks, as gtis has suggested the 9th of Feb we could go with this date.

I'm up for that in principle, Andrew, pending clashing nonsense such as work.

Good for me in principle too, subject to confirmation of the date nearer the time.

Let's go for the 9th February for the next meet.

Anyone got any requests for places to go? For me a trip to Magpie Mine would be on my list.

I agree with the locations suggested, all three will be particularly good if there is any snow on the ground, but that looks unlikely at present! If we are doing Magpie Mine, we need to hit it late afternoon and hope for a sunset!

I'm still on for this, as things stand

Locations suggested sound good to me - tho' happy anywhere really! David's suggestion of MM late afternoon means Padley earlier? That'd be good.

BTW.. do any of you (still) have the Sigma 10-20? If so, and if you're coming, I'd be grateful for a play
