A curious thread indeed.
Do not care to go into the rights and wrongs of specific cases, but it does seem odd, and sad that established forum members end up being banned.
Clearly things must have gotten quite heated to end up in this manner, why I ask myself? For most people this is a friendly relaxed forum, which most of us enjoy as part of our hobby, it is not a matter of life and death, so why do some people treat it so.
Forums like this are interesting places, Moderators literally have the power of life and death in the virtual world. We expect Mods to demonstrate the highest standards of integrity for the benefit of the community, but as far as I am aware do not pay them.
As a member of the forum I expect to be moderated, once or twice in the past I have sailed close to the wind, and have been asked to delete post`s. I accept the decisions and requests of Mods, it`s part of being a member. Without the Mods it would be chaos. Possibly sometimes the wrong decision is made, presumably though banning a member is not a decision taken lightly. Without wishing to sound subservient in any way I will always back a Moderators decision.
If the day comes when I do not I shall retire my membership. After all it is only a virtual retirement.

Suppose it`s one way to build up a portfolio, at least they are being honest.
Think if I was in need of a wedding tog I would probably pay for one, rather than take the risk, after all accept their offer and what comeback do you have if the images are useless.
Pobably not great for the general market, but that`s what competion is about.

If ever there was an advert for the 250-600 these are they.
Very impressive, and such dedication in getting them.
Your output just seems to be getting better and better.

Yip,
Do not seem to be getting many Goldfinches though

I counted 25 sparrows at my feeder this morning, the seddums(i think) are full of hoverflies and wasps, the butterflies are regular visitors but I think in fewer numbers than previous years.
Think we have plenty of life in the northwest; my birdfeeder can go from full to empty in 6 hours. we have regular visits from a hedgehog, and have spotted a field mouse under the feeder.
