Would be very tempted by this
IMHO the slightly narrower fl range is more than compensated for by the constant 2.8 + close focusing ability.

It`s a very good lens at a excellent price.
I have the non macro version, otherwise I would be banging you door down.

When you place the order put your username into the customer comments box.
The bill shows the postage but srs do not take it off your card.

Mine arrived today from SRS, No stain, Level is accurate,have updated firmware and low level light AF appears fine.
What a fantastic camera, just been messing about in the garden, first impressions are extremely favourable, a massive step up from my K20.
Am hopefully out on friday to do something a bit more interesting.
I found a charge of an hour was enough to get some time in, now my battery is flat

My K5 arrives tomorrow courtesy of srs.
Talking to the guys there it seems they are selling as fast as they arrive. Good news for Pentax.
Hopefully by now the "issues" will be sorted.
A colleague has just bought his frst dslr; Canon 550D, against my advice, I recommended a KR, but he was put off by stories of poor Pentax QC.
Perhaps Pentax need to release a new faultless model, if only to improve the brand image.

I think its so you can turn the polarizing filter , if you are using one.
Another example of Pentax being designed for photographers.
