The bag is the minimal volume for the big 150-450 and one more lens with a micro waterproof jacket for stuffing.

Product code: 132417 from PCWorld . £29.99
It takes my gripped K1 mounted with the 150-560 HD
I also put my 28-105 in a doubled (or tripled) rugby sock and it has a convenient side pocket with a strap above it to put in a lightweight full length mono pod.
It is totally weather proof and you can buy s rain cover on the net for around £7
It also had a convenient back pocket that is fairly flat that will take non bulky items like a couple of filters batteries and lens cloths etc
This bag is light not to thick and is just great; carried my birding kit everywhere including Jjungle trip to Borneo in the rainy sesson.
Don't know how it can be so inexpensive given it is a very high quality super lightweight back pack with very nice lightweight straps

I live not too far away (50 mins) from there and do go regularly
I take a K3 II with 150-450 and a 300mm with a 1.4 converter .
I also Squeeze in a 18-135 and a 100 macro
Don’t take my K1 as doesn’t keep up for BIF’s like the K3II
My second body is a K3.
Quite a lot to carry, but genuinely there’s a lot to capture
If I was just taking two lenses it would be the 150-450 and 18-135.
I have carried out the same type of exercise with the 28-105, 18-135, 24-70 and 70-200, conclusion: the expensive and large DFA's (24-70 and 70-200) are good but do not exhibit a step change over the smaller zooms and in the field the 18-135 is always in my bag.
However, for indoor work and event work the 24-70 is a good lens, Still not overly impressed with the 70-200 though maybe because I am used to the 60-250 which I sold to buy the 70-200.
Of course this is all subjective so I have to keep in mind what the charts show, one thing is certain though I won't part with the innocuous little 18-135. Best travel lens I have owned.

So I am waiting for a significant step involving AF performance and until that happens I will go on enjoying the wonderful K1 as is
Hopefully in the next 2 years Pentax will crack the Af limitations - they usually get there and everything from the K3 to date has been a steady imrovement so hopefully it will keep going - they have got everything licked apart from AF .

Always great photocraft from you and I love 2 & 3 particularly - you and the K1 is a great match - keep ‘em coming.
