As said, I've had a play with the K1 but not used it properly so today was the first real outing with it, and of course the new Tokina 20-35mm that I bought off Lenny. Think I may be pretty happy with the combo.

First image, no filters, just PP in Lightroom, images 2, 3 and 4 have a Formatt HiTech firecrest C-PL as well as a 0.6 soft edge nd grad.

I think I see the new team is working extremely well. Lovely set Gareth. The first two are really strong.

Cannot wait to see some of your sunset beach shots with this new combo. Well done indeed.

I certainly wouldn't have any complaints if I had produced those…

That last shot is just something else.

No 4 for me.

But then, I do have a bit of a thing about railway infrastructure...

2 & 4 for me - I love the detail on the foreground in #2, and the light on the rail caps in 4.

Very nice, I like the first shot especially. The tonality of the sky in no. 2 is beautiful though. Do you think there's an extra bit of image quality with full frame? I'd be interested in your thoughts on the 20-35 once you've had more time with it. I'm always looking for cheaper lens option Some of the samples I've seen with it on Flickr didn't convince me but these look great.

A great set and I wait with interest for future shots with this and other lenses. #1 for me - the range of greens is superb. I'm still toying with the K1 move but not the bunch of used K1s from SRS fro £999 are all sold I can relax a while. It's the uptick cost in the new lenses which is putting me off... I'll try and wear out the K3

#1 has my preference for its soothing quality. And #2 has character, another worthy quality.
