ah, yes. Ironically, I used that on this image, but didn't think of it as a rotation/crop tool.
Pity there isn't a button on the actual crop tool to over-ride the constrain to canvas and preferably also to auto-fill the resulting white triangles as some apps do very successfully on my phone

I'm a late adopter of Lightroom, having used Photoshop since 1992.
For Processing (not editing) a large number of images LR is in another league - much much faster.
I'm still getting my head around the cataloging, still mislaying stuff or finding myself working inside an odd collection, but that's just me being a bit thick
PS is still king for proper edits or single images, but now the TIFF comes out of LR and goes back in afterwards.
I love some of the latest developments in PS like the crop tool and content fill/move etc. Straightening images without cropping out the dead triangles around the edge is now a breeze. I haven't found a way to do that in LR (??)

They seem very noisy. It just goes to show, that at 800iso even the Zed can create quite messy images if they are not processed with care.
I suspect they have been cropped quite a bit because long lenses for 645 are pretty rare.
The K5/3 could do much better than this with ease and a much better selection of lenses.
Horses for courses; I don't think this was the right horse

AH, good luck Gary; you'll love it.
I think I should have used my decision to get one, as a reason to travel somewhere exotic and get it cheap, but when the urge takes you...
Thanks for the comments guys.

Oh few. Good. I just came back to this after looking at some trendy contrasty images and thought maybe it was a bit flat by comparison.
Thanks guys.

Does anyone have any comments about the black and white processing? (please)
I'm not much of a BW man and I suspect it could be punchier, at the expense of detail. Any thoughts?

I like the last one. Sparkly
The trick is to pre-focus on a nail or something arranged to stick out of the water where the drops are falling. Presumably the drops come from the exact same place every time? A dripping tap is ideal to get your hand in with these shots.

Bet they love this photo
She hasn't seen this one, but another, stepping out elegantly, had her 'skipping round the kitchen' when she saw it. I'm assuming that's a good thing
