Never really tried this

Gave this a try this afternoon ....quite difficult to get the focusing right ,will definitely be trying this again ,these were taken with my newly purchased DA 50mm f1.8 and yongnuo 560 mk2 speedlite flash ....

The trick is to pre-focus on a nail or something arranged to stick out of the water where the drops are falling. Presumably the drops come from the exact same place every time? A dripping tap is ideal to get your hand in with these shots.

Thanks,I think also having thought about it,keeping the camera square to the plane of falling droplets is crucial.
