This was taken at 18mm, landscape format.

But you could shoot any type of panorama with any lens, and then stitch them in post production.
I think Martin was really asking whether the field of view was wider in your panoramic than he would be able to achieve with a single shot at 10mm. Am I right in thinking this is a 180 degree view Nathan? In which case Martin, no you wouldn't.

I tend to use the camera in portrait format for my panoramics, and the resolution you get when stitching is phenomenal compared to a cropped shot. One for instance (using my *istD and about 14 shots) was 18,307x2895 pixels.

Well there's this, but I'm sure you could make your own.

But John has got a special Pentax hammer, and nails with an SMC coating, so he's bound to use them!

What lens were these taken with? They look a bit 'smeary' towards the edges of the frame, especially (moreso because it's sharper in the middle) the second one, bottom right.

No. 1 looks as though it's focused on the further side of the head, but I prefer the composition.

How about a DSLR without the hopeless built in flash?
Looking at the original post it appears to be a flash-less size.
Well, I look at that picture and see a joint line running around the top of the camera, where you would expect the flash to be, so to me it looks very much like it has one. Why else would there be that joint? : It would be a one-piece construction otherwise.

Why start by essentially disabling the site?
Fair point, although the netbook essentially 'disables' it whichever way you look at it.

You've misaligned your bricks where the box was - they're not staggered any more. And there are a couple of half-and-half coloured bricks where the camera was.
