Well there is the idea that as MF photos don't need to be enlarged as much to get the same print size as 35mm (or APS), then the lenses don't have to have as high resolution. I assume there's actual evidence to back this up, although it always seemed to me to be a bit daft to have a larger format allowing more detail and bigger enlargements, then reduce the quality of the lenses used, because you don't have to enlarge so much...

A cheaper option, once you've got a 67 to K adaptor: http://www.lcegroup.co.uk/SHdetails.asp?Item=17275

And a review of it here: http://www.luminous-landscape.com/reviews/lenses/600mm.shtml

170mm front filter? And a 77mm rear mounted filter!

Oh, and how's the golf coming along?

In some ways it is a bit scary how much information you can find about people just by a quick search. A couple of months ago I had followed a link to a PU member's Flickr page. There was a photo there 'taken from my back garden'. I recognised the particular landmark in shot, and having a a few minutes to spare (and enjoying a challenge), I had a look on google maps, noticed a particular tree in shot, and could 'triangulate' pretty well where the shot was taken. If I was a stalker, that could be quite scary for him, I can confirm I'm not one though, so he's fine.

I have to say I do that quite often with shots that I see, just to see if I can figure out where the photographer was standing at the time. Usually it's just landscapes, not pin-pointing someone's house.

But surely you're top of the list as Anthony Aylen, with your shot of the tree in Epping Forest on fotoLibra?
