New W90 waterproof

I've not heard of that one yet.
I recently bought a W60 - even though the W80 was available and the results from the W60 seemed better. Hopefully if there is a W90 they will have sorted out the problems and improved the image quality.

Not impressed with the W80, Pentax advised sending it to Johnsons for repair possible sensor issue. Not bad for new kit. Personally I would not go anywhere near another Pentax P & S. But the K10 & K20 are never too far away. By the way Johnsons have yet to acknowledge receipt, pretty poor service all round I think. It`s a dull wet day, it`s been a heavy week.

So did a Sony I have, received confirmation of receipt two days after I sent it and I did not have to pay for postage and insurance either. All the W80 info I have found on the net indicates the W80 has poor image quality. If Pentax have superceded it with a new version because of this I will fast track a letter to the local trading standards people. I feel sure those immortal words of "unfit for purpose" will have an effect.

So far I've had the Pentax Z750, A20, T30 and now P70. All have been fine, but with the caveat that it takes quite a bit of care to get the maximum quality out of compact cameras.
This was also true of Fuji compacts I have had in the past.

I am not expecting too much from a P & S or from a repair shop. A simple acknowledgement of receipt would help. I have a 3mp Olympus 350 P & S which gives superb results still. I would expect Pentax with a new model to at least equal it for quality. I think we accept too much without complaining, the British attitude you know. Grin and bear it, put up with it. All that sort of guff! It`s not having a problem that`s a problem it`s how the problem is dealt with that`s the issue.

Had a good look round and I can`t find it either. Lots of other W90 items but nowt from Pentax.
