I also like Lackford Lakes, getting some lovely views of some Kingfishers up there. What I like about the Wildlife Trusts is that they're very much dedicated to 'your' county, and look after the reserves and parks with people as much in mind as the wildlife there.
Did you see any posters for photography workshops at Hanningfield?

Link AE to AF Point relates only to multi-segment metering. I can't remember exactly what it does, except that it doesn't do what you might think it does!

So elements 6 does not have actions but elements 8 does correct:
If you don't want to spend out on a new version of Elements just yet, how about this free work-around.
Download this PSD file, and save to your desktop. Now, every time you want to do this B&W conversion, just double-click the 'Actions.psd' file and it will open up in Elements. Then open the image you want to work on, view the two images at the same time using Window>Images>Tile from the menu bar.
Then just select the two adjustment layers from the 'Actions' image and drag them onto the image you want to play with, and then adjust them as necessary.
Does that make sense?

Have fun with it Al, sometimes my English is better then that from native speaker, pathetic isn't it.
Your sentence should say '...better than that...'
I've noticed you say it before, but haven't felt the need to correct it, but this seems like the right thread to do so.
I wish I could speak/write a second language as well as you do.
