yeah, they looked liked stumps, so didn't mean those. Think we're talking about the same bits - seen between and to the immediate right of the two trees at the edge of the grass area front left. If that makes sense.

What focal length did you use? I tend to do my panoramas with my 50mm lens (for minimum distortion), and the camera in portrait format (for maximum height), but without a special tripod head you still end up with mis-matches with closer objects. Many of my pans are of wider views though, so I can get away with it.

Thought I did quite well with THIS yesterday...
Wish I'd seen that myself, would have earned a quick £50 reselling the mount alone.

Shame on you!

Assuming you mean the ones top left (quarter of the way into the image).

Probably better off with a genuine Tamron adaptor. This one looks as though there's no aperture lever, so I'm guessing it will just stop the lens down and all composition/metering would be done at your chosen aperture.

A PK adaptor will at least allow you to compose with the lens wide open, even if you need to use stop-down metering.

This may be your cheapest option.

I have no idea how your lens would compare to your M200/4, but I'm sure John will be along in a moment to extol the unequivocal superiority of Pentax optics.

Formby Point? Nice image, I like panoramas like this, although there are a couple of errors in matching up tree trunks, especially (unfortunately) right in the middle of the pic.

Apparently $499 for the Pentax unit, how that will translate into £'s is anyone's guess... £300?

Spider looks like an Argiope species, rather like our Argiope bruennichi, or Wasp Spider. Can bite, but won't do you any (unless you're very unlucky) harm. Think it's an Argiope aurantia.

There is also the small area within the windshield wipers that I couldn't sort out and is an odd colour partially as a result of my work.
And the car in the background viewed through the front quarter-light (if that's the right word for it). You've forgotten to apply the blur to that bit, and it's a lot larger than the area by the wipers.

Otherwise nicely done. But get yourself an FA50 1.4 and save yourself a lot of photoshop time!

Yes. But assuming you would like it explained (sorry, tempted to do a 'George' and leave it at 'Yes' :lol, a circular fisheye will produce a circular image on your sensor, like Peter Elgar's shot here:

A diagonal fisheye is like the Pentax 10-17 zoom, so the image covers the full sensor.
