I'm going to hire a hot air balloon, and a 99 yard rope...

Amin, just be careful you don't get carried away with all this reversing lenses and stuff...

70% right and she goes both ways (I can think of which way I want her to turn, and blink, and most of the time she goes that way).

So I suppose I have to wait until small digis start to come equipped with a larger sensor.
I've seen a positive review of the Sigma DP-1, although it costs more than your K100D will have done.

Glad you're getting accustomed to your SLR.

Just wondering if anyone's seen anything more about the K20D GPS model, there's no info about it on the SRS website.

And googling it, I find there's still just speculation and nothing obvious released by Pentax.

I'm puzzled.

Well, I'm left eyed too...

I think I use right hand over because it allows your left hand to stay in a similar position to when you're shooting landscape format. It just doesn't feel right holding it the other way for me.

"Moisty"

I hold it the same as your wife, in fact I have the vertical grip, so I usually hold it the 'third' way. But without the grip, I find it much more comfortable to put my right hand over the camera.

My nearest pentax dealer is currently trying to get the SAME over the top price for BOTH km AND k200...!!?! a Staggering £350 when Jessops down the road can offer Sony a200 for effectively £230....and km is suposed to attract beginners to DSLR's...??????
Just had a look at the Cameraworld website (I'm assuming this is the Pentax dealer you're refering to) and they have the K-m at £329.98, which means it's under £300 after cashback. SRS have it at £299.00 before cashback.

Jessops have the A200 at £274.03 before £30 cashback (SRS have it at £273.06), so £244.03 at Jessops after cashback.

So the difference between the K-m and the A200, with just a little shopping around, is £25.94.

There were Nikon and Sony 10mil models at substantially cheaper prices so few people were likely to choose an 'outsider' brand costing more than one third extra.
I realise the prices may well have changed since your post.

I get the very distinct impression, from many of your posts, that you are deeply dissatisfied by Pentax and their cameras. Have you tried any other brands? Are they not more suited to you? I'm not being funny, but don't stick with something that's not right for you. Go back to Cameraworld and play with them all. You might actually like one of them!

Ha ha, just had a look and you can see the shadow of the 'eroded devon hedge' on google maps.

Now I know exactly where to go to copy your shots...

It is an interesting site, I've not used it before, but I may get round to it at some point. Thanks for the link.
