Right or Left Brained?

I'm wondering what side of your brain most photographers use and if that influence there photos in what type and how/what you think while composing the shot. The later would be hard to write down for everyone and take to much time to do so just do the tests and let me know what comes out.

These are the tests
quiz my score; 15% left, 85% right
the lady clockwise so right brained

The scoring goes as followed:
- each test is 50% of the score.
- you grade yourself with the lady test.
my would be 85% right for the quiz + 100% right with the lady because I could only let her turn clockwise = 92,5% right brained

I turned out to be 55% left and 45% right.
Proves I must have a split personality

40% left brain, 60% right and I can make her turn both ways so I guess that makes me neutral

yep it does and it's quite hard to make her go both ways, I'm sure you're among the few that can do that.

Richard it proves that you make calculated creative disicions and now I wander how your photos look like.
You will probable think on several things while composing the shot, you will calculate and not just merely see and do what feels right, am I right? This also aplies to you Gwyn

Stefan, it depends on the shot - sometimes I will calculate, sometimes it's pure feeling - so my neutral stand is at work again .

I do prefer dogs to cats though - wasn't there something about liking dogs in the description???

I prefer also dogs over cats because they atleast listen.
When you think of it then the cat who you cant really controll and is more free in his doing is something more for a flexible creative right brained person.

Too bad you both haven't photos in your gallery, I was hoping to see that a right brained person would have more diversity in the photos he makes then a left brained person because a left brained will more often choose proven and succesfull ways of making a photograph.

Hmm,

65% right, 35% left and the dancer goes either way - although the direction of rotation is more random (if i close my eyes and open them again the direction has sometimes changed) than something I can control.

That would be both brains for the dancer Haydn, or is she going more often one way then another?

It's quite strange that she can turn both ways most people don't even believe that

Sorry to disappoint you Stefan. When it comes to my photographic creations I become 99% cack handed. My brain seems to go into some sort of a nosedive

OK..now I'm confused.

In the quiz I am 60% left 40% right. And the expanation pretty much matches me ( I think ).

But, for the love of me, I can only make the lady turn clockwise...which says I'm right sided

My favourite subjects being maths and physics, I should have seen her going counter-clockwise.

Mrs Ted managed to make it change direction, and she's the more artistic of the pair of us.

More often clockwise

70% right and she goes both ways (I can think of which way I want her to turn, and blink, and most of the time she goes that way).

Then the dancer - she turns clockwise 'by default', but I can make her turning the other way round as well.

Sigh... in other words I'm like a feather on the wind

I'm 40% left and 60% right - and I can turn the dancer either way so I guess I'm pretty neutral...
