So then, let's speculate on bodies -

Will they all go with Kaf3?

Or will some (or all) have Kaf2 to support legacy AF lenses?

If some sort of mix of mounts, what will determine which ? Will "pro" (higher-end) models get Kaf2 (for the ltd's, of course) while the consumer models just get SDM? (to cut the cost of installing a motor drive in the body)

(Wondering if I should stock up on Kaf2 capable bodies so all my lenses will still AF...:shock

Don already has a robot for stuff like that...

When I tried it out on my 10-20 the polarization ranged from 100% on one side of the frame to nothing about 2/3rds of the way across the frame, where it started back in gradually...

Made for some interesting effects, maybe even usable for some creative shots, but not what I wanted at the time, so I returned the polarizer...

YMMV.

"Lurid" - good word that... It describes most of the HDR pictures I've seen, and is why I've always been relatively unimpressed with the technique.

It also happens to be the exact thing this photo isn't. This just may be the best example of great HDR I've seen...

...Makes me believe that there just may be something to this HDR stuff after all...

Clarky - I used to have more Sigma lenses than I do now, and in my experience, it didn't fit anything not on their list of allowable lenses.

(SIGMA EX Apo Tele Converter Compatibility chart for SIGMA brand lenses)

It will fit a couple other lenses but you need to be very careful of the lens rear element touching the front element of the TC. I've checked to see if it could fit non-Sigma lenses, and the 5 or 6 that I've tried are definitely not usable. Either the rear element sticks out too much, or the diameter of the flange thing (just inside the mount) is incompatible...

I'm somewhat disappointed.

Here I thought there must be a whole group of titillating (no pun intended) photos that I had so far missed, and it turns out to be nothing of the sort...

But, I do think the filter's a good idea...

Keen2Learn - I think you might be referring to proposed changes to the copyright laws in the US...

Google 'ORPHAN WORKS' and you'll find out more than you ever wanted to know...

I'd think at the distances and magnifications you usually work with, it'd be pretty easy to differentiate the two....
