sold it already, simply can't justify keeping it, since I hardly shoot at the tele end I'd be better getting the money back and investing into a 28mm prime and a macro lens/raynox

Mike, I didn't even know that there's a 2.5 and 2.8 for adaptall 2, I thought it's only got the 2.5 one. I tried a bit of searching but only got the AF version of the 90mm 2.8, if they're fairly similar really I'm up for either, whichever comes.
Fletcher8, I'm hoping to hold out for a swap but I'll PM you anyway though I'll probably hold on to this and wait for a while to try my luck as cash isn't at too much of a shortage at this moment.

I've got the 1.7x af TC that I hardly ever call upon and its just now a nice piece of workmanship being wasted and its in nearly as new state.
I'm trying to shoot in film now so I'd like to swap for a fa /f 28mm (or something small and similar and is a ff lens with af ) plus a bit of cash, or ideally an adaptall 2 90mm.
Rather trade than sell unless its a very good offer. Will get some pics later.

I have a 1.7x af tc but hardly ever find myself using it, as I don't really shoot much at the tele end. As I'm getting a film camera and only have the 43mm as the only full frame lens I'm very tempted to trade it in for a f/fa 28mm plus a little bit of cash or if possible a adaptall 2 90mm
Does that sound like a sensible choice??

Thanks John, that certainly looks a lot better..
HG, I do like colour film, probably could develop that at home as I know a few friends have done it before, but I don't think I'll go down the home developing way any soon, too time consuming, too much faff for my liking. Might try somewhere else at developing next time.
Gareth: Thanks, well, not literally my first ever go at film, i have used film cameras as a kid but since I've done proper photography then that's my first serious usage of film.
Richard, that does look a lot better too!
David, sure that is actually possible, I forgot about editing them in computer
Kris, how do I check through the negatives though?

I've got the same feeling too John, but they look a bit darker in the prints yet still not quite dark enough.
These images are from the CD boots did, I don't know if it's the scanning or anything leading to this.

Borrowed a MZ-5 from Steve and brought it with me to the Lakes, with just a 43mm on it all the time. Far from perfect/good conditions, whiteouts, grey/white/mono skies. I think the film was a roll of kodak iso200 (cheap), Developed at boots, not the cheapest for a student though, will try somewhere else next time.

oh ok, a bit more of googling around, what about the sfx and similar models? just thought I'd ask since no one has mentioned them, and they seem to look quite good
