A little off topic but let me just say that at least one forum member has a refund on a W80 because it was not fit for purpose. Buyer beware with Pentax compact!

Shame, it`s the weekend I chose to return my duff W80 to the shop in York. I would like to have come along, hope all goes well for you and your team Chris. (feelings of guilt `cos I bought the W80 on a whim while in York). I have learnt! everything i have had from you has been promptly delivered and fairly priced.

Beware the W90. If it`s anything like the W80 you will be in for a shock. IQ could be very poor and Pentax do not have an answer for it. Leave Pentax out of your buying plans and try other makes.

if you try jessops you will be lucky to find someone who knows what a camera is. If you find a pentax it`s been nicked.

Mike, I totally agree. I set debug mode to be active all the time and dialled up plus 150 little bits and it is sharp. The best lens for it is my DA 50-200. Crystal clear throughout. Tamron 28-300 is a bit fuzzy at the long end but if I bring it back to say 280mm it`s ok.
