Hi Tony, hope your tests are favourable. Wonder if it`s possible to increase the print size in the forums. Not visually challenged too much yet but gotta plan ahead.

Just finished me tea, out in the garden after a day at work. Wife and I still in holiday mood tucking into quiche and hedge clippings listening to the melodious Skylark. How wonderful, we have a few of these little beasties fluttering about us East of Ipswich.

Well Graham I cannot help you with your route but the Isle of Skye!!!!!!!!Magical place spent two holidays there, september mind you so not too many midges or tourists. If you are after seeing the White Tailed Sea Eagle you could do worse than a boat trip out of Portree, saw Golden eagles too on the trip we did in 2008. the Aris centre too just out of Portree is a good food place. Enjoy your time.

Thanks for your comment about Dave Gray, what a gent!

Hi everyone, just back from holiday too! Been North of Geordieland and what a crackin place. Need to work me way through zillions of mpixels now, thoughts go out to Flossie. Stayed at Beadnell and what a great place, wicked little bungalow with a great secluded garden. Went rockpoolin every night and used "Rivercam" (Panasonic FT2)used a combination of the K10, K20, DA300, DA300 + Tamron 1.4 TC, 28mm Tony Blair (Miranda), 28-300 tamron and std lens. Saw more Puffins than you could shake a stick at, not just the Farne Islands but Cocquet Island too courtesy of Dave Gray (Puffin Cruises). Dave is a smashing guy and gives a good bit of local history. He reckoned it`s where civilisation began and ended a while later. I could listen to him forever, bit of Dave and Si (Hairy Bikers) in him. I guess there`s a page or three to catch up with here too!

I have always felt that it`s important to let others know when quality of services is good or bad. My belief is that it may just help someone make up their mind about something. So what`s this all about then? Last week the home internet was gradually grinding to a halt and on Friday night it totally shrugged off the coat of conection. So in a mindful state on saturday did all the checks and concluded that the modem/router had passed over. Rang O2 and a most helpful lady in Northern Ireland confirmed my thoughts by testing the conection and doing other bits and pieces. She confirmed an order for a new modem/router had been raised and that a confirmation phone call would follow later on Saturday. Got the phonecall and all was confirmed. Arrived home today and waiting for me was the new kit, now I reckon that`s cracking service from a large organisation. It`s the sort of stuff you would expect from a small family firm. Thanks O2, you did well.

(Other service providers are available).
