I had the manual focus 28mm f1.8, I found the small focusing twist way to small for focussing at 1.8 so got rid. I did get just over £100 for it. One went today on ebay though for just £47

When I did A level photography a couple of years ago there was a large chunk of teh course taken up with film processing.

Our local college has now become a Nikon academy, which means Nikon have supplied all hardware & there is now a huge Nikon logo at the front of the media centre.

On the donside the college now no longer does the following courses

A level
HNC
HND
Or any part time evening classes!!!!

Whether that has anything to do with Nikon I don't know...

Ouch, it's incidents like this (although not quite such amazing oportunities) which caused me to institute my current policy. My policy is that my camera only has one image size setting, raw. On very rare occasions I can be convinced to use maximum size, maxium quality JPG, but since getting the K10D I will generally shoot raw and process in camera in preference to this.
I never change the settings but had friends round & wanted to show then the shutter speed of my GX20 in jpeg mode, then forgot to reset it to RAW.... DOH!!!!

Never mind it was only Fleetwood Mac, might catch them again in another 20 years

I get large posters printed at Tesco & find them very good. cannot really comment on small photos as I rarely need smaller than 20 x 16

I am seriously looking at getting a KX for a second body to put my DA* 50-135mm on.

The high ISO quality will suit my concert / festival photography no end.

The images I have seen so far a thigh ISO have really impressed me along with the mentioned a lot faster AF & a lighter body too...
