Another shout for the Ikea Ribba but I use the aluminium ones & they look really expensive mounted on the wall!!!

Love this lens, I have to agree it is sharp for a zoom lens. Certainly put me of buying 16-50mm for a whilst yet!

Non cropped but resized.

2009 has been an amazing year for my photography career, shooting the Glastonbury Festival pyramid headliners Blur was one of my greatest achievements.

Gear wise I was considering jumping ship to Nikon, however the K-x has me intrigued & I will be getting one soon. I also intend to get a 80-200mm 2.8 whether that be Sigma or Tamron not sure yet. May even go retro & keep an eye out for an FA*.

Career wise I hope to join one of the bigger agencies, hopefully get more assignments. Assignment wise, a European music festival would be nice.

Phil Oakley of The Human League

A contender for my favorite of the year as it was one of my first forays with a manual focus lens, a £20 Tamron 80-210 f3.8-4 on my K100D Super, taken in the rain whilst standing in the middle of a large jostling crowd.

Lots of great shots in this thread so far, but I especially love Mat's tiger and Stefan's wineglass.
Thats a great shot, I have photographed the Human League a few times & Phil Oakey runs about with more energy than a duracell bunny. So to get that shot with manual focus is a great effort.

Its a great camera, never really found issue with noise in shadows. I also use a K110d & there are differences.

The K110d images are brighter than the GX20
The GX20 images have better tones & skin tone too
The metering on the GX20 is far superior to the K110d

The RAW files I have to admit are huge compared to the K110d

I do wish I had got another GX20 in the Park's deal, that was the bargain of the year!!!

Good all round skill level

Think myself good at photography & good at photoshop. Can always learn new skills, that is what life is about to me...

The stoning photo is truly awful, nice to see Matt Cardy got one in that lot.
