I always shoot the kitchen and bathroom installations that I have done for my portfolio. This is one I finished off last week.
No re-touching, straight from the camera with kit lense on.

Hello again you Happy Snapper's,
Can any of you expert's out there please advise me; On my wish list is a wide angle lens.As you will be aware they can be considerably pricy,so I don't want to get it wrong. I have heard some good things about the Sigma 10-20, though it is a bit 'slow' for indoor use, but I have not heard much about the Pentax wide angle's;Or any other's. Anyone here have first hand experience of both ? either?
Also I would like to get A general walkabout / holiday type lens that would be an improvement on my 18-55 DA 11 kit lens, perhaps stretching from a bit wider to a bit longer? do you know if there is such a thing?
I s'pose I'm looking for technical advances that aint gonna happen for another decade or so!:rollI have the K20D)

In advance, thank you kind people for taking the bother to help,
Best Regard's to all.

My experience with the built-in flash of the K10D is that it is about as powerful as a spent match. I'd invest in an external flash and Mattmatic's flash "ebook". I tend to set my camera on manual when using flash as I find the fancy in-built flash modes more of a pain and less reliable than a bit of trial and error.

The main problem with using flash outdoors is there is nothing to bounce it off, and direct flash is unflattering.

Best wishes, Kris.
Dear kris,
Please explain 'Mattmatic's flash "ebook" '
Thank's Pal.

Thanks to all you kind people for taking the trouble to help,it is appreciated.
As for distance(greynolds999)aprx 3mts to 20/25mts.
Anvh suggests 28mmf2.8,is this preferable to 28.. f1.8?
Regards to all, Larry.

Last night there were some Morris dancers performing at my local,so I thought it would be a good oppertunity for some practice. I used my 18-55 kit lens on my K20d. The light was getting dim and the shots were blurred as the lens was staying open for 1/4s, 1/8s. I tried upping the ISO through 400,800,1100 and tried SV, TV, AV & green(auto) and the in-camera flash but I am not satisfied with any of the shots.
Question; Do I need a faster lens (f1.8,28mm?)If so, can you reccomend? or do I need to get a good flash? again, any suggestions which? Or a combination? Or is it just me needing more experience?
Thank's in advance for any help you may think useful(apart from swapping my camera for golf clubs)

A little tip I picked up recently; Use Avon's 'Skin So Soft' body Lotion.
The Midges & Nats etc hate the smell! Just smear a little on bare skin area's(No,I am not an Avon agent, honest!)
I hope this helps.

Thank you all for your replies.
If any of you good people (and anyone else) would like to meet up around Hertford /Ware sometime, perhaps park at a pub, do a circular walk, snap some snaps and end back at the pub for some lunch? Then Email me a couple of dates and we'll see if we can tie it all together.
Best regards to you all, Larry.
