Can anyone out in snappyland please help; I want to print two 'photo's in the same size as you see in a passport or driving licence, that kind of thing, but my printer only offers me a fixed selection of sizes, none of which suit. All far too big.
I know I can get this done for a couple of quid in a station machine but I do have a reason for doing this at home.
I have an Epson Stylus DX4050 and a Canon iP6700D. I am using Windows 7.
Any ideas please?

I always start yelling at my screen if it does that but it has never worked
The adobe camera raw update should have done the trick...
Could you do this for me?
In CS3 window go to Help>System Info you will get a list and if it's correct you can see copy, if you do that do you want to paste it here in a comment.
We can then see what plug-ins are installed and such inside CS3.
I have found and tried (see below) and it works
"You could try installing FastPicture Viewer Codec pack. It does support Windows 7 x64 and PEF. I am using that on my system. And it's free."
Fast Picture Viewer | WIC RAW Codec Pack for Windows 7, Vista and XP
In future I shall be sure to use only RAW and not PEF's
However, a BIG thank you for taking the bother to help

Hmmm that should have done the trick for the K20D and Photoshop CS3.
What happens when you try to open a PEF file?
A window opens telling me 'Could not complete request because it is not the right document '

Maybe use the Pentax software to convert PEF to DNG for photoshop use if that is the case?
CS3 works with the K20D/K200D & K-m and earlier cameras but the K-X and the K-7 don't work.
Here is a link to all Photoshop updates
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=39&platform=Windows
I usually do shoot DNG but somehow twiddled some knobs and used PEF my mistake for a while; I swapped back to DNG as soon as I realised.
Thanks for the link, I'll give it a go

Are you using a K-7?
If so CS3 won't work as Adobe want you to use CS4!

No, I'm using K20D. Pray tell how I go about changing PEF to DNG?

Is your RAW converter updated to recognise your PEF files? Updates are needed for every new camera model as the PEF files are camera specific.

My problem is that some time ago a freind set me up with an external 500 Gig hard drive to back-up my computer; What I was too daft to grasp, being new to computers, was that every time I backed up everything was stored again, whether it was altered or not!
I'll give it a go.
