maybe your website should also be multi-language and show other couples as well as heterosexual couples.

My point is you can't please everyone but the majority is what in this situation is reasonable to aim for.

I have experience with deaf organisations as I designed print work for typetalk (a telephone service for deaf users) for about 3 years.

If this site was designed for visually impaired and deaf users then it would not be designed to attract the majority of people. Like good photography design is about the slightest element being in the right place.

As I said a non flash version makes sense but

yes a non flash version would also be good but this side works brilliantly (as well as on a mac - my own system)

How many times do I have to go head-to-head with stubborn know-alls, who tell me something won't work and then evventually when I use enough charm and psychology I get my way. Then they tell me how the orders are flowing in!

ooooh some of the posts on this thread have wound me up. Know your limits people and gain empathy. And understand that your life experience may not be enough to judge every creative thing you see!!

Ask yourself WHY and then explore – don't just knee jerk!

Nice website Peter! The whole thing is an experience, the music and colours do the job excellently as do the flash mechanics.

As a fulltime creative in the design and ad industry I feel I am qualified to give an opinion.

Why? because I understand about designing for a "market". This website is very feminine in the trad sense of the word and you wouldn't mistake it for anything else but luxury product aimed at a fgemale audience.

Presumably it makes sense to aim this predominantly at women as it is "their special day".

Saying that it wouldn't alienate the male audience.

Sometimes people give an opinion but cannot visualise the audience the design is for!

yes good spelling and tasty punctuation and lovely grammar are nice - but so is tolerance, politeness and tact!
