Are you happy with the GX1L - does it meet your needs, or would a 90mm macro be of more use?
The advantages of the K10D - resolution, genral image processing quality (with image noise possibly an exception), build quality, weather sealing, processing speed and probably better firmware support might be very useful depending on your photography style etc. Disadvantages: size, weight, possibly higher quality lenses required.

Sell the GX-1L on Ebay for £100.00.
Buy a K10D from SRS for £450.00.
Buy a Tamron 90 on Ebay for £90.
That leaves £60.00 for essentials like shoes.

Thanks for your help folks. Samsung have extended their cashabck on the GX-10, so I'll buy that, get the £100, sell the GX-1L and buy the Tamron.
Love the shoes tips, George!

It's got its position on the list of priorities... Can the moderator set up a whole new section. Shoes for Pentaxians?
Images of shoes can be posted already, should you feel so inclined.

Hope you don't have cause to regret that offer. We might get overwhelmed by shoe-fetishists.Quote:

There's probably a Taschen book for people who like shoes, handbags or whatever else. In the style of "1000 Chairs", a riveting volume if you like chairs.

Well, I can't afford any shoes now. I bought a very badly listed eBay mixed item that included an SMC x1.7 AF Adapter for £140 including P+P. So, I'm feeling smug, but there will be no new shoes for a few weeks!

I have recently sold an old car and was expecting to get about £300 for it, with which I was going to treat myself to the Tamon 90mm F2.8 Macro. However, I actually got £500 for it and can now afford the K10D body instead. I'm currently using the GX-1L (no sniggering at back there, I got a great deal on it). Don't reckon I'd get much for the GX-1L on fleabay so definitely can't afford both.
So my question is, would it be worth putting a £270 lens on a basic body or would my £500 be better spent on the K10D?
All opinions welcome.
