I had dust on my kx sensor before xmas. I researched a lot, but before investing I bought a rocket blower from amazon for £7.99.... It worked brilliantly. Just remember to hold camera up so that mirror and sensor is facing floor so as u blow the air the dust falls out rather than getting stuck!

My plan was to get a descent portrait lens, but I do take a lot of macro shots. I own the Tamron 70-300, which I think is very good but I get an awful lot of CA in contrasting colours.

Its my birthday soon(ish) so thinking of getting a new lens...can anybody advise which would be the better choice between Sigma 70mm f2.8 or the Tamron 90mm f2.8?

If poss i'd love to see some example images.

Just to add to it...exactly same happened to me and turned out to be lens correction turned on for distortion and CA. As soon as i switched off it went back to normal.
