K5 cashback offer - anyone else had problems ?

Evenin all

so I bought my K5 - filled in the claim form , gave them ny bank details exactly as requested (bank account I've held since adam was a lad), popped in my receipt and sent it off to Pentax recorded so I had proof of delivery.

heard nothing from then since sending it off before Christmas and , to be honest, not checked for the money arriving in my account.

Get home tonight to a letter stating that they have been unable to process my claim as, despite having tried to contact me previously (oh no you ****ing haven't you lying ********) they still require the following:

Then there's a X in the box labelled incorrect or incomplete bank details provided - B*ll*cks - I gave exactly what was asked for on the form and as previously stated I've had the account yonks - info copied directly over from statement and double checked and treble checked.

Also a X in the box labeled : Proof of purchase not provided - oh yes it ****ing was.

Has anyone else had any problems with this ?

The best thing is to just give them a call in the morning and see what can be sorted out.

I'm too tired and irritable to move from my computer tonight so will dig out the copies I took of what I sent tomorrow night and call them wednesday.

Bought my K5 between Christmas and the New Year. The credit hit my bank account a week ago. Had no queries or problems on the way. Hope you get sorted.

No problem at all got paid into my account last week. As they are asking for the extra info I'm sure you will get it resolved with them.

Gonna be sending mine tomorrow, and it is going to be recorded, with all the documents stapled together. Twice!

FWIW, I had no problem at all.

I ordered my new K-5 from SRS. It arrived the next day. Posted off the required info and the refund hit my account within two weeks.

I forgot to include proof of purchase

I really helpful guy called after 3 weeks to remind me, payment landed 48hrs after posting!

Got mine fine, paid by company called Confero or something (can't think of any other reason some random company would give me £90) Did take longer than I thought though !

Bought mine early December and got the cash back early in the New Year about 3 weeks after I sent everything off - no problems

No problems here, two weeks and it was in the bank

Sent mine today, with a printout of the email Pentax sent me saying that they will still HONOUR the cashback considering the lack of stock in the country.

Now let's see if they'll deliver.
