I need to buy a new screen protector for my K-5, and I cannot seem to find the ACMAXX type that I purchased some years ago. Does anybody have an alternative screen protector to recommend?

Very moody set and interesting compositions! My immediate favourites are "Stopped at the Fence" and "Web II". I would very much like to try the 28/2 Hollywood one day, it seems to have quite unique rendering.

I remember having contact with Jon Goodman, the American who sold (sells?) light seal kits for most analogue cameras. On eBay he used the name "Interslice". He was very concerned about the loss of competence and knowledge amongst camera technicians, because this craft was not passed on to the younger generation. No competent technicians = no more analogue cameras = death of analogue film. Here in Norway the brilliant camera technician and Pentax spesialist Pål Vangsøy has just retired, with no replacement to take his place.

With this background I welcome any new film camera from Ricoh/Pentax.

A highly enjoyable set. I especially like "Books", "Chickens" and "Bird Scarer".

It is interesting to see how the K50/1.4 performs on the K-3iii. My K50/1.4 has only been used together with the LX, and is a good performer with analogue film.

Thank you for your advice Mike and Jonathan! I have now purchased the Sigma lens. I will chime in with my views on the lens and suitability for northern lights photography in the near future.

I am wanting to acquire a super wide angle lens for northern lights and general astro photography. If unlimited funds I would have gone for the Pentax 11-16mm f2.8, maybe some time in the future. For now I have seen a Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 DC HSM for a very good price (roughly £ 120). Is this lens any good for my intended use? Does anyone here have experience with the Sigma 8-16?

PS: I have previously owned the Pentax DA 12-24, and regret having parted with it. So, this could also be an option, although this lens sells for quite a bit more than what the Sigma 8-16 I am looking at is priced at.
