Iv'e tried the blower on 2 cameras ,my ISTDS and my K20D...on both occasions I ended up blowing dust up into the focus screen!....It went in the bin and I invested in an arctic butterfly!......a wonderful tool,and so simple to use !.....Hitch a lift down here and I'll do it for you in 2mins!.......Ken

It's a yes from me as well!......try going to your nearest Pentax dealer and rattle off a few shots with DA* lens's!....you will then realise your fave lens is not as good as you thought it was!....good luck!..Ken

You could always spray the body to match!....could be a big job methinks.....I would just stick with the tape!..all the best!..Ken

Buy yourself a "camo" net and become part of the surroundings!...I get by perfectly well with my DA*300,there are ways and means for most shots!....Ken

Yup! the 1.4 gets my vote!......but could it be down to manual focussing!.....my 1.7 is extremley sharp when I get it spot on......Ken

Pour a litre of engine oil in the fuel tank before you drain it,,,My wife did my golf and the only way I could get rid of the full tank was to use the ignition to work the pump!.....drain it right off and refill with diesel, then keep refilling it every time it gets down to 3/4!....you should be ok!....mine is!....I'm chuffed to bits you got your gear back...all the best!...Ken

Ps. The oil is to lubricate the fuel pump!...
