When I first bought my K10D 2 years ago I was told on this forum it is always best to buy good lenses rather than keep changing the body. Unfortunately I seem to have taken this to heart and keep spending my money on lenses even though the K10D is now past it.mike p is see your using a k10d still is there any reason as to why you have not upgraded as by the red tapped door on your k10 sounds like it seen better days.

This subject came up at our meet on Saturday...in fact I brought it up!..Why, when Pentax bring out a new model,do they discontinue the models already in production?.....I have just checked out the opposition.
