A good qual;ity bag should need very little cleaning. I was in a cafe once and the waitress dropped a load of chicken curry onto my camera bag. It cleaned off with just a damp cloth and didn't even stain.

For the second time I have taken my camera out of the bag to find the lens hood cracked. First it was a DA 16-45mm and now my 60-250mm hood has a bloody great crack in it. If I were carrying these lenses round with me all the time and was a bit heavy handed with the bag I could understand but normally I have my Sigma 70-200mm in there and nothing has happened to that in all this time. As soon as I put a Pentax lens in .. crack.
Noticed both times its where the little slide out bit is for the filter rotation .. obviously a weak point.
Very annoying.(Rant over).
