Would you consider splitting them and selling? I might be interested in the 135/2.8 with M42 mount.

problem is, once you get one ltd, you'll lust after another one...
31ltd? One of the best lenses I have used, period.
If the FOV suits you (which is kind of important with prime) I don't think you'll regret buying it....

I bought my from ffordes for £250 in May. Srs had one for £299 and it's sold now, and they sold the A version for £499! So fair price for K series, depending on the version and shape would be £225-300 IMO...

I don't know which is the better lens, but the Pentax smc DA 15mm F4 ED AL Limited lens is £579 at SRS but the smc DA 14mm F2.8 ED (IF) lens is only £519, so perhaps the 14mm would be a better bet as it's cheaper and faster???

PS Just noticed that the 15mm is a Limited lens so I guess that accounts for the difference.
I wish Pentax would make a wide angle wide aperture lens. Having just bagged a 50mm/1.2 I'd love a 15mm version. Even a 15mm/1.4 would be fantastic!!!
15/1.4?!? Can you imagine the size of that beast?. No thanks. 17 f2? I'd like that

Considering you liked 24 on film and you still have 24 for you digital, I'd go for 15. It'll give you very similar FOV to 24 on film and for those "it's too wide" you have the 24...

What's the difference between Pentax-K and Pentax-M ??
There isn't M series 50/1.2
The story goes:

1975-77 = SMC PENTAX 1:1.2/50 - that's the original K series and the one I own
1978-84(85?) = smc pentax 1:1.2 50mm - lens stayed the same (the same as with K24/2.
1984-2004 = smc pentax-A 1.1.2 50mm - optical construction still the same but beauty ring moved on top of the focusing ring. One aperture blade was added (9 instead of 8 ) and the all important A setting was added.

Except these 3 basic versions (OK 2.5 ) there were 2 more versions. One was 24k gold plated K series which came with gold LX and one was chrome A series that had the styling of silver FA ltds and it came as kit for LX2000.

PS: @OP: I'm glad you have discovered f1.2 club on the other forums, there are many fine examples from both K and A series over there. £249 for A series is a STEAL! I paid the same money for my K series (which is now undergoing repair/CLA) back in April. As far as the softness goes, please.... don't even let me go there. It's a one big nonsense IMO. I think the f1.2 is perfectly usable. I was shooting it for a month exclusively during Single in September challenge and most of the shots were at f1.2. Here is the link: http://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/members/axl-albums-single-september.html It's very versatile lens well worth every penny.

Thanks for the FA*24... lovin' it!
Axl is now on my hate list

I was after this lens but when it's car tax and car insurance month, with a car chucking out 244 g/km of CO2 I was waiting for the right moment to buy this lens. getting the DA*60-250 and Nikkor 70-200 VR last month cleared me out already

BUGGER!!
sorry man!

I was hunting this one down for couple of years. I was up in Watford to play with it some time ago, but didn't have the funds (77ltd came first) but I couldn't pass the forum price! Even if it means I'll be probably eating buttered toasts for the rest of the month

Are the Vivitar tubes auto aperture only, or supporting the full lens-body communication/AF?
