If yoy think 35+15 would let you photograph more than 31 let's you at the moment then go for it.

On the other side as you said yourself, 31 is one amazing lens and it's OOF rendering is 2nd to none in K mount below 100mm IMHO. Question what do you want/appreciate more:
A) one superb lens with limitation in close focus and onle lens setup
B) 2 excellent lense but none of them as fast or as good in OOF rendering

With great grief I'm selling my K50/1.2. Unfortunately my I got myself into some sort of financial trouble and this one will have to pay for it....

This is the original K series (production run 75-77) and it's in great shape.
Bodywork almost mint (nearly NO brassing!), glass is spotless, aperture is snappy and fully functional. There are two spots on the beauty ring (one between 50 and SN and one between Japan and SMC) which suggest that sometimes in the past the lens was disassembled from the front without correct tools. I had it serviced and CLAed via SRS in November 2010. The lens is still within 6 months warranty for this job! Lens functions 100% correctly.
It comes with Asahi Opt Co rear cap and Pentax front cap.
I'm including Nikon HS-1 hood. Metal screw in 52mm thread, designed for 50/1.4 on FF. The original pinch mechanism is messed up so it's jammed and has 52mm filter ring screwed from back and front! This ensures easy screwing on, in both ways, so the hood can be put in the lens backward for storage/transport. Once the hood on it works great with 49mm generic pinch style cap, which I'm also including!

I'm selling K50/1.4. This is not the later M series but one of the original K from 1975-77 production run.
I have recently acquired it from USA, tested it against my K50/1.2 and FA43/1.9 and decided that despite being good performer it's not worth keeping as I'm not collector.
The lens is in Excellent shape, with only little brassing visible on the aperture ring, mainly on the "underbelly" of the lens, and around the filter ring. There is a slight wobble of the main barrel, but nothing to worry about. Focusing is smooth, aperture blades clean, glass is in top condition. All works as intended.
Lens comes with 3rd party caps and Konica hard case, which is practically mint.
I will ship anywhere in UK (via Royal Mail 1st class special delivery [next day, signed for]) or in EU (via Royal Mail international signed for, trackable and usually delivered within 5 working days).

if you would be ok with screw on hood, just look for Nikon hoods, they are great and work like charm. Dealers? There is a shop called aperture in London, that sells used Nikon hoods in various conditions, give them a call...
