Sorry ignore the previous post I've just noticed it's 24cm not 2.4cm which means it must be massive and is either an aerial photography or process lens covering 15cm x 20cm Also it's f/9 not f/1.9 so it must be a process lens. I assume it hasn't got a shutter. These were called APO pre war.

I'm going back to playing "Name that Barcode"

Is it the same as this one link

EDIT: PLEASE SEE FOLLOWING POST, I'VE MISREAD THE DESCRIPTION

Strange S.No CZ used no's like that in 1938, but Jena did make a lot of odd stuff including specials for the Stasi. CZJ Camera lenses changed to mm from cm around 1952? and being APO I would expect it's quite recent.

Tessar means it's 4 elements so it must be a standard lens probably for 15mm x 20mm format (16mm film?). APO means a high level of correction for chromatic aberrations in the 3 three primary colours. f/1.9 would indicate a camera lens, but why only 4 elements? and why cm's. Also camera Tessars were usually a maximum of f/2.8

If it's not like the one I pointed to it might be better posting a photo. You could try the Manual Focus Forums but they will probably tell you to bugger off they don't like enquires that could be valuations in disguise

The answer to all memory card questions - regardless of the type of card or the use to which it will be put - is "buy the one that says Sandisk Extreme III on it"
Bit of a brash statement you've made there

They don't even comply with the following questions:

Is is Waterproof? ..... No
Is it Dustproof? ..... No

Can you find info about people having problems with Sandisk
Cards on Google? ........ Yes

Is it the current big favorite of the Pro Video boys..... No

Do MxM Express rate it as the No: 1 Card ....... No

I've just ordered an 8GB card that has the opposite answer to all five questions

Bit of a hint here

Algi (who will shortly be able to change cards in the rain)

Just pointing how good the little gun is for so little money. Two guns plus two optical triggers would cost about 30 quid and can be put anywhere in the scene where you need extra light.

They are pocketable (especially if they still have the case) and are very handy for stuff like macro work where the power can be turned up and down in full stops.

btw a soft mouse-mat might also work.
No Stefan, I've got some of that, it's handy for stacking HD's or DVD writers so they don't rattle about.

The stuff I'm on about is this

Unbelievable how strong a grip it has. The dimples have nothing to do with the grip I think they are there to help you lift the item off

Should only be £1 though.

Have you got any Pentax AF200T's brilliant little gun for remote triggering and only about 10-15 Pounds on ebay. You can double them up for more power.

I tested one with a Shepherd digital flashmeter at 1M and the half, quarter and 1/8th settings were spot on, which is unusual most guns are usually out.

The power output was the same as a AF240T which only has a high/low setting. Low on the flashmeter shows -4 stops so that must be 1/8th power.

The AF400T is about 2 stops more powerful than the AF200T, but the 1/4 power setting is almost 1/2. The 1/16 setting is OK.

Some Sunpaks I tried were also out by up to a stop.

Sorry I missed the CPL bit

Yves has just reminded me that they sell a small clear plastic slip mat in Poundland etc. for stopping keys, phones etc. slipping off car dashboards. They really do grip...... I've used them to hold some small JBL Creature II speakers to the desk.

Get some Blue-Tak and warm it up a bit to make it stickier. I normally boil the kettle and flatten the Blue-Tak against the hot side.

Make/Roll it into something resembling a piece of string.
Form a circle on a Formica table top the right diam. to take the filter.
Push the filter into the Blue-Tak until it grips strong enough to allow you to unscrew the lens.

Don't forget to remove the Blue-Tak and keep it handy it you've bought a K-7 off TechFurb you might need it to hold the lens on
