The new layout on the news pages has no left margin and makes it hard to read.

Nothing wrong with Lithium AA's except the cost. I saw them in Tesco's last week for £4.99 for 4 which is a good price.
I don't have a K-x so I've no personal experience with these batteries. The *istDS used to work great on the original Panasonic NiMh batteries charged in a good pulse charger. It did have problems with other batteries such as Ansmann and Energiser.
I've still got the original Panasonic 1500mah batteries and they still work well in flashguns.
7Day seem to have a new version of Panasonics 2600mah at £8.99 link
They also have the Infiniums 2100mah at £5.99 or Eneloops 2000mah at £6.99
So the new Panasonic 2600mah has 30% more capacity than the Eneloops and assuming that Eneloops do 400 shots the Panasonics should do at least 520 shots, but might also deliver higher power.
Charging twice will usually increase the capacity. The second charge only need to be for an hour or two. A good charger is essential.
Panasonic own Sanyo who make Eneloops.

LOL I question the authenticity of a 'Chinese' recipe which involves Worcestershire sauce!
You won't find anybody in Wigan putting that on
their "meat and tata" pies

They also have an AmTech one for £3.48. It might be the same, but, I've see the Rolson one and was quite impressed so that's the one I've gone for.
Take 4 AA's (hopefully OK on NiMh)
