Which reviews are appalling even in the days of the K10D it won awards all over the place apart from Which. They used to go for Zeniths in a big way years ago. I nearly bought a Panasonic TV on their say so a few months ago luckily I found quite a few internet sites slagging it off so I bought a Sony instead (still not as good as the Hitachi it replaced).

Looks at good lens regardless of price. Pity they didn't
make a few more

Kirons are not that easy to put back together and small bits
get lost easily.

There's 3 BIG Canon FD lenses on ebay right now. link to one

Canon FD 500mm f4.5 Sport Photography Lens.

"Owned by a professional sports photographer this lens has been to Olympics Games, World Cups and many other major sporting events around the world."

Depending on the price it could well be worth buying a body that could use any one of the lenses Oly digital? Panasonic?

Mines Pentax specific, but some people have used the Nikon one on Pentax and found that the flash works at 1/180th OK. They come with all the leads so it may still work. Will it work as a remote trigger for the camera without the flash.... has to be plugged into the camera jackpug release socket? If it will keep it as a release, it will work up to about 100 yards away... better than infra-red.

You could then get another set for flash, just set the new set to a different channel so you can use both at once.

It may still be worth keeping the original set and just use the flash trigger part as part of a 2 flash set-up. I don't think you'd get much on ebay SH.

Are you sure that you have it the right way round on the hotshoe?
The push button and the two sides tapering in plus co-ax socket should be nearest to the lens i.e. away from you as you look through the viewfinder.

You will probably have to set the camera to Manual and a speed of 1/125th sec. (1/90th would be safer) otherwise only part of the frame gets exposed. It's a problem with the RF-602.

I use two of these one to fire the shutter and the other to fire an AF200T which in turn triggers a couple of old Bowens monolights and any other flashes via slave cells.

Excellent piece of kit.

I'd like to be able to enable Power Zoom on my K-m (it has the contacts, it can power SDM lenses, so why not PZ? The K7 can handle PZ perfectly).
The AA batteries wouldn't last long

Some nice shots. You seem to have made the most of
what obviously wasn't a beautiful summer day.

The first ones excellent. The sky is too bright in the second and
the very dark clouds don't help it either. Looks a promising
lens for landscapes though.
