The 3rd one really hit home how good (actually how bad) the colours were on Kodachrome Brings back memories of when I used to do slides.

Nice shots especially the 2nd. I like the
detail in the birds wings.

Isn't the same.
With the K10D you can control the settings off your camera from your PC, I don't think you can do that with an Eye-Fi card.
It's the only way it can be done with a K-7 Hundreds of K-7 owners are doing it and are quite happy. Everyone should be happy when they are doing it K-7 owners do it Wi-Fi

You can control the settings for the camera from........????? !!the camera!!

The other alternative is sell the K-7 and get Don's (PAF) Photo Kiosk

From this end. If I bring up the photo and photo information, there
is an EDIT and DELETE BUTTON ON THE RIGHT.

I think all you can do is delete the whole thing and repost.
The update button probably just updates the details.

You shouldn't be allowed to change the photo anyway, people
have probably commented on it.

Welcome Sue, you've been very busy listing that lot. A few items have caught my eye so I'll go and have a closer look later.

Thanks for pointing them out on here.

I've tried film 3 cameras with split image screens (Pentax MX, Olympus OM20, Chinon CE-5) with 50mm f/1.4 lenses by standing in front of a door focusing on the vertical edge (door to architrave gap) at eye level then moving up and down the door and watching the split image. It only moves off-line close to the bottom of the door, so I don't think it's very accurate.

The microprisms surrounding the split image on the Chinon are quite impressive though, they do shimmer when the split image looks in line and it looks more accurate. Unfortunately it's not an interchangeable screen. I might see if I can get it out and adapt it to a K20D.

Good to hear that it's working. I notice that shot's at 1/60th, have you tried to see how fast it will go before you start getting a dark unexposed band at the bottom. Mine does 1/125th but isn't reliable, so I think I'll stick to 1/90th.

The dog is OK, but you need to get some light in the eyes and possibly put something like tracing paper in front of the flash to diffuse it (possibly you've done that, but the shadow edges are still too sharp). It's worth trying to get a Pentax AFT 1 which is a clip on tele-adapter for the flash. You don't use it for that though just tape a piece of diffusion material over it with Scotch Magic Tape and it makes a good diffuser.

Looks a very interesting place and nicely photographed.

It must have been one of the worst jobs in the world working there
cutting granite setts by hand with the tools they would have had
in the early 1800's. I would imagine a lot of people would have lost
their eyesight due to flying chips of granite.
