Thank you.

The lens is excellent (when you get the manual focus bang on) considering it's age and cost, I am happy with it.

I bought this and the Tokina 300mm to practice with longer lenses and to help decide if I would use something such as a Sigma 150-500, thing is I have no immediate plans to upgrade now as I like these lenses as lot

Too be honest the lens out performs anything I had expected from it at £29.99 plus postage and with no info available it was a bit of a risk really.

Photo's from it can look a bit low in contrast however the contrast slider in camera raw does not solve the issue but a small slide to the right with the black slider and the photo's come to life

After that just normal raw processing is needed.

Things have got better since I obtained a lens hood for it though

It's a shame that the weather will be wet this weekend it's about time it had another outing

Oh yeah - a sturdy tripod is a must it's an unwieldy beasty
